Nice shots, James.
Interesting shot of that Bigg's Brownie. It looks as though those ants can kill the butt anytime, but they appear to be busy milking the mealybugs.

Thanks Bobby & Khew! Gald that you like them.
I observed that those ants will just leave the BB alone and busy with their chore.

Symbiosis. It is commonly observed that the Miletinae Subfamily feed on where the ants are milking the mealy bugs or sap on a plant. Go through our checklist photos and u can find many of them with these nasty little ants that wont hesitate to nibble on you.

Thanks for the educational information, Professor Mark Wong. ;P
The Miletinae and their 'parasitic' relationship with mealy bugs, coccids and aphids is a subject for a forthcoming Blog article, if anyone is interested. :)

That's a very interesting charateristic of the Miletinaes and their relationship with ants and mealy bugs.

Nice shot of the Logania, they never seem to settle, for me at least.

Thanks Aaron! Yes, once they are airborne, they don't seem to settle down soon.

Well then we've got to be very careful next time, cause if we spook it into flight it might not come back down. Anyway thats a great shot there, nice bg and compo.
