Skipper id from Cameron Highlands

My first post on this site and trying to id a skipper I photographed on Gunung Brinchang last year.

Looks like one of the Awl (e.g. Hasora sp.) but can't really tell which one from your shot

Hi Mike, and welcome. I agree that it is a Hasora species. It looks most likely to be H. mus pahanga, bearing in mind the dark tornal markings on an otherwise uniform brown underside. This is a montane species, so its presence in the Cameron Highlands is to be expected. Please note, however, that this is only a suggestion as there are a couple of other similar species.
