Went to Malaysia over the weekend and managed to squeezed some time to visit a forest reserve in Pahang. Here are record shots of some butterflies there. Hope I have got the ID correct.

Good shots, James! And all the IDs in this thread and the other one are spot on!

The skipper, if I'm not mistaken, is Pithauria marsena. I've seen it before at Fraser's Hill. Slightly larger than the usual Telicota spp that we have here, for size comparison.

Great shots, James, and congratulations on getting the upperside of Appias nero, even if it is blurred. This is a VERY difficult shot to get, as it very rarely, if ever, rests with open wings.

I also concur with SK's ID of the skipper. It matches exactly the photos I have of the species from Ranong, Thailand.
