Description
The wings are dark brown above with several darker patches on the fore and hind wings. There are also several small white spots on the forewings.

Habitat & Habits
The Common Snow Flat is fond of sunny spots beneath the jungle canopy and can often be seen basking with wings opened flat.

If disturbed, the butterfly zips very quickly away and hides under a leaf, usually with its wings still opened flat.
