Description
It is dark brown above, with a distinctive crescentic postdiscal spot in space 3 of the forewings.
Habitat & Habits
Neptis harita harita was not recorded in Singapore by the early researchers and authors. It was observed mainly in the Mandai area in the vicinity of the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari in the early 90's. Although rare, it appears rather frequently in the area. Some individuals have been spotted as far south as Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
The butterfly glides in the usual "sailing" fashion of the Neptis species.
